VANCOUVER, BC. — Konscious Foods has expanded its plant-based seafood offerings with the launch of frozen sushi rolls, poke bowls and onigiri-stuffed rice snacks.

The clean label seafood alternatives are crafted using ingredients like konjac plant, pea fiber and organic red quinoa to provide a convenient meal option for health-conscious and sustainability-focused consumers. The product additions include California, spicy California, Rainbow and tuna avocado sushi rolls; tuna poke and salmon poke bowls featuring organic rice, edamame, corn and mango; and onigiri-stuffed snacks in flavors like Japanese vegetable curry, kale gomae, roasted corn and poblano and Korean barbecue mushroom.

“Our team has tapped an unmatched pedigree of turning plants into food to tackle our biggest undertaking to date: creating seafood made from plants with superior texture and flavor,” said Yves Potvin, founder of Konscious Foods. “We know we cannot create meaningful impact without great tasting food consumers want to eat, can afford to eat, and can easily integrate into their daily life. We are thrilled to be able to share the results of our hard work and are looking forward to delighting consumers.”

All of the products are now available nationwide at Sprouts Farmers Market and Whole Foods Market locations.
