Tiny treats are trending as consumers increasingly seek indulgences in smaller portions. From Chi-cest Foods, Bonchou Mini Eclairs are available in flavors such as chocolate, coffee, coconut and salted caramel.
Too Cool Chix makes petite ice cream sandwiches in flavors such as lavender ice cream with a soft lemon cookie and peanut butter ice cream with a soft dark chocolate cookie.
Bagel Lites offers bite-size mini bagel balls in a range of savory flavors that, at 80 calories or fewer, are “just the right portion,” according to the company. Another exhibitor, Bantam Bagels, features miniature bagel balls stuffed with cream cheese in such sweet varieties as cookies and milk, donut and cinnamon bun.
From the JC’s brand, JC’s Pie Bites are coated truffles in flavors including coconut cream, cookie dough and banana cream. The company recently introduced a line of JC’s Pie Bites Minis in portion-controlled pouches with less than 150 calories.
